Review on: MAC - Plush lash mascara in black
::: The Product :::
M.A.C. Plush Lash comes the standard black box, and the tube itself is a matte black measuring about 4.25" in length and 0.75" in width.  The company name and product are on two "sides" of the tube, with the mascara color, net weight of the mascara, product batch number and company information on the bottom label.  Each tube contains 0.3 oz/11 mL.  Unfortunately for some, Plush Lash isn't waterproof, but it is available in two colors: Plushblack and Brownette.

M.A.C. states the following about Plush Lash: "A mascara formulated to instantly plump up lashes for extreme voluptuous effect. Works fast. Builds volume smoothly and evenly from root to tip.  Delivers a silky, flexible, full fan of lashes. Fluid formula lightly coats lashes one layer at a time without smearing, smudging or clumping.  Goes on via an innovative, specially patented wand with a v-shaped groove that prunes the bristles on one side while leaving the other side full and lush.  The short bristles coax the lashes upward to an extraordinarily sophisticated yet flirtatious curl, while the other side separates and combs the lashes root-to-tip creating a long, well-defined glamour lash.  Volumizing, lengthening, curling, lifting.  This mascara features everything you want, with all the top mascara no’s: no clumping, spiking, smudging or flaking."

::: The Ingredients :::
Unfortunately, I no longer have my box to divulge this tidbit of information.  And needless to say, M.A.C. Live Chat Reps cannot give me the information, and want me to contact their Global Consumer Communications to find out!  However, as soon as I find out, I'll be sure to edit this section of my review!

::: My Experience :::
As you all know by now, I'm a mascara freak.  If the product claims to give me long lashes, then I'm willing to buy it if the price is right (sorry, Dior and Givenchy need not apply for this position!).  I had previously tried M.A.C. Fibre Riche Lash after hearing how great it was, but I wasn't overly impressed at all.  When I read what Plush Lash was supposed to do for lashes, I immediately called my fave M.A.C. MA (makeup-artist) and asked Chris for his honest opinion.  He said it was really good, and that sold me right there!  Of course I tried it on my next trip to the sole Macy's who carries M.A.C.

I have to say, it was a bit confusing at first!  The brush is basically flat on two sides, with your normal roundness of mascara wants on the other two sides.  M.A.C. claims the flat side is really short bristles in a V-shape, but it doesn't seem such to me.  I mean, there are some bristles, but I wouldn't consider M.A.C.'s description the best.  Anywho!  The proper technique is to use the flat side to coat the lashes with mascara, and then using the rounded sides to roll the mascara from root to tip.  Yeah, I know!  MY technique is to wiggle the brush using the rounded side from root to tips, and then use the flat side to give length.  Then, if needed, I use the rounded side again going straight up from root to tip.  Confuse you?  Sorry, but it's almost hard to explain!

I was a tad on the fence about getting the mascara, so I didn't purchase it right away.  I actually got it for my birthday when a friend sent it to me as a present.  I fell in love with this as soon as I used it!  Perfect for my night out!  I'm not too interested in volume, but ILOVE length AND soft lashes that don't feel rock hard!  This gave me plenty of length with just the right amount of volume.  (Something Diorshow claims it can do, but doesn't in my humble opinion)  M.A.C. Plush Lash is definitely a staple product of mine, and will always stay in my mascara rotation with the hopes of it never being discontinued.  Not only do I have nice long lashes, but I didn't have any clumping, flaking or smudging.  Getting Plush Lash off at the end of the night isn't a huge feat either.

::: Purchasing & Pricing Information :::
M.A.C. Plush Lash is available for $12 from M.A.C. counters and stores, as well as online.  While it seems like a lot of money for a mascara, consider this: L'Oreal Full Definition Voluminous in a CVS store is $7.50.  Diorshow is $23, and L'Oreal H.I.P. Volumizing Mascara is $9.99 in drugstores.  Sorry, but I'm willing to pay a tad more for something I know works!

::: Recommendation :::
If you're looking for a great mascara that will live up to its claims, then you definitely want to get your hands on M.A.C. Plush Lash.  Though it's not waterproof (which doesn't bother me one bit), it doesn't flake or smudge at all!  No raccoon eyes to worry about!  Your lashes will not only be long and have slight volume, but they'll also be nice and soft.  Almost like your natural lashes were suddenly enhanced overnight!

Pros: Great mascara for length & volume; No smudging
Cons: Slightly pricey; Tricky to use mascara wand at first
Review on: MAC - Plush lash mascara in black
This stuff is awesome!  As someone who has short lashes, this stuff gives serious volume and length.  So if you want the long lashes you've been so envious of, this stuff is it.

Pros: makes lashes long super black good value for dollar
Cons: the application stick feels a bit on the cheap side
